Ingredients

50g Swede, flesh only, raw

20g Curly kale, raw

5g Spring onions, bulbs and tops, raw

10g Butter, salted

          

Method

    1. Peel and slice swede, place into a pan of water and boil until soft.

    2. Add chopped onion and kale and cook for 2 minutes until tender.

    3. Drain and mash, add butter and season with salt and pepper to taste.

    4. Serve or allow to cool and freeze until needed.
