After one particularly scary hospital stay with his nocturnal seizures, Theo said to me upon returning home, “You will keep me safe won’t you, Mum?” From that moment, I have religiously stayed by his side all night, every night- not trusting myself to hear him from another room (even with a baby monitor) in case it was a quiet seizure or I fell into a deeper sleep. Even next to him, I barely sleep, but felt I was doing the best I could to protect him. The irony is that a noisy hospital ward is where we both sleep better as I have the reassurance of the toe probe SATs monitor to alert me to danger. 
Well thanks to all of you wonderful people at The Daisy Garland, we can soon replicate that at home. Theo will enter his teenage years (he turns 13 next week) with his restored privacy and space. Our entire family can sleep better with an added layer of a safety net. I can’t express how much this Daisy Garland SATs monitor means to us.
