We applied for a monitor for Steven after his epilepsy team let us know that he was at risk of SUDEP having cerebral palsy alongside his epilepsy diagnosis. Steven currently uses a sleep system to keep his body in a good position for the night, so a SATs monitor was a fabulous choice. Night times are currently very limited sleep as we are constantly checking on him, even with a camera monitor the slightest movement alarms us to him. With the supporting evidence from Steven's epilepsy consultant he was successfully awarded a grant with this fabulous charity, and night times are going to feel a whole lot better, with the reassurance of our Daisy Garland SATs monitor as an extra set of eyes.
