Shelbie-Niamh Our Daisy Garland SATs monitor means the world to me, Shelbie and my other two kiddies. We are able to go places now and not to worry as much about her having a seizure. When Shelbie has a seizure her oxygen levels drop very low but by having this monitor it allows extra time to get the oxygen on Shelbie to help her recover. My sleep has been very limited due to worry about sudep, but the SATs monitor will alarm me as soon as her oxygen drops. Overall I can do so much more each day not only with Shelbie but with my other children, my little girl Matilda that's 3 and my little boy who's 2. Shelbie has been in and out of hospital since she was born after spending a lengthy 107 days in NICU and already 6 admissions into hospital due to illness. Shelbie has a number of conditions. Epilepsy, hydrocephalus, she has a VP shunt, chronic lung condition, and reflux. She was 11 weeks premature but is thriving and doing very well considering how poorly she has been. I'll be forever grateful to The Daisy Garland charity, so thank you very much. Manage Cookie Preferences
