Rowan went into status epilepticus in November 2022 at age 3, for some reason that night I didn't take him to bed as I usually would. Instead I curled up on the sofa next to him and left him there with me, I strongly believe if I had put him to bed as our usual routine he wouldn't be here today. As Rowan suffers with day and nocturnal seizures, I'm constantly on edge. I don't sleep and lay listening to him breathing continuously checking on him. Now we have our Daisy Garland SATs monitor I can have that peace of mind and already I feel much less anxious, enough to be able to feel I can safely rest. I'm beyond great full for the support and to have been given the monitor for Rowan, the absolute tragic events that happened to Daisy really is saving lives which is such a beautiful thing in her memory.
