We are over the moon to have been granted a Daisy Garland SATs monitor for Ellis to support with his sleeping! Ellis has had epilepsy since he was around 2 years old, now he is 5 we have tried our best to ensure epilepsy has not got in the way of our energetic boy enjoying life, he adores sport, loves playing rugby, football and basketball therefore he desperately needs a good night sleep!! With his recent seizures happening during his dreams we had no choice but for one of us to sleep in bed with Ellis every night. Receiving the grant for the monitor will be life changing for us as a family, finally being able to move back into our own beds so Ellis can have a decent night sleep so he is ready for sport, school and anything else 5 year old boys love!! We have been trying to find a solution for sometime when I learnt about The Daisy Garland charity, to us they are like a Disney fairytale granting us our ultimate wish… for a worry free night sleep that will never be taken for granted again!
